If you’re arriving at Istanbul Airport, you’re arriving on the European side of Istanbul. That means to get from the airport to Kadikoy; you’ll need to travel to Asia!

Thankfully, it’s not as hard as it sounds. However, it can take up to 2 hours depending upon the type of transport you choose and what the traffic is like on that particular day – and it can be bad sometimes.

Here are your options on how to travel between Istanbul Airport and Kadikoy:

The Metro in Istanbul includes several stops and will take around 1 hour and 45 minutes, but you don’t have to deal with traffic. You will need an IstanbulKart topped up with credit, which you can purchase from the airport. Simply take the Metro from the airport and head to Sisli-Mecidiyekoy. Once there, change to the M2 line and head to the last stop – Yenikapi.

You can take the Marmaray from there, which will take you under the Bosphorus at high speed! Get off at Ayrilik Cesmesi station, change to the M4 line, and Kadikoy is just one stop from there.

The final option is the shuttle bus. The Kadikoy service takes around 2 hours, depending upon traffic, and you head outside the airport, and you’ll find the HAVAIST stand with all the different buses. You pay the driver and get on! If the service is full, you’ll have to wait for the next one, but they’re very frequent, so the wait will not be very long.

Taxi

Another easy option is to take a taxi; however, this is the most expensive option. Depending on traffic, it will take around 1 hour, and you should set your price with the driver before you get in the car. Prices are fluctuating at the moment, so it’s best to check before you plan to travel.

From Sabiha Gokcen Airport To Kadikoy
