This detailed guide covers the Milos to Antiparos ferry info that you need. It also has the Antiparos to Milos ferry information to help you island-hop Greece like a pro.
Greek island hopping has long been a favorite for summer travels. Those who haven’t tried it might be surprised by how easy it can be.
When you hop from island to island, you get to see the subtle but very clear differences between life on each island – they may all be part of the same country, but they’re all distinct.
Two islands that are easily linked are Milos and Antiparos. These are both located in the Cyclades Island chain but have very different vibes.
Milos is the most southwestern island in the chain, and it’s packed with history. However, it’s also known for its fantastic nightlife, with something for everyone. You can easily enjoy the turquoise sea and sandy beaches during the day, throw in some sightseeing, and then party during the evenings.
On the other hand, Antiparos is a much smaller island. This spot is known for chilled-out vibes, but a little like Milos, it has excellent nightlife. For a long time, Antiparos wasn’t known for tourism. However, it’s become more prevalent over the last few years as upmarket hotels and resorts pop up along its coastline. Even Tom Hanks has a holiday home here!
So, how do you get from Milos to Antiparos and back again?

Milos To Antiparos (& Antiparos To Milos)
Of course, island hopping tells you one thing – you cannot use the bus! The only way you can get between these islands is by taking the ferry. You can take your car on the ferry, although the car ferry does take longer than the foot passenger ferry.
The downside is that there is no direct service between these two islands, regardless of the time of year. You will need to connect on another island first – Paros.
Don’t let this put you off, however, as the distances between the connections are pretty short, and the transfer is effortless. There are also connections available all year round, although there are fewer sailings during the winter.
How To Get From Milos To Paros
The ferry time from Milos to Paros is around 1 hour 45 minutes, depending upon the weather.
The distance between the two islands is 40 miles, and you will use SeaJets or Blue Star Ferries. Between June and September, 54 crossings per week decreased to 14 crossings per week between October and May.
How To Get From Paros To Antiparos
Once you arrive in Paros, you transfer to your next crossing, over to Antiparos. Paros is known as a hub for connections within the Cyclades islands, so you will not be the only person making a transfer!

Once you arrive, Antiparos town is directly next to the port.
Heading Back To Milos
Once you’re ready to head back to Milos, reverse this information and take the ferry back to Paros and then over to Milos. Be sure to check the times of the last ferries, as this varies according to season and can change at the last minute, depending upon the weather.
